if they are single 4 ohm you want an amp that will put out 800 watts at 2 ohm.

he says you need 800 watts and you ask if about an amp that puts out 1300?

(even though I doubt it actually puts out 1300)

I'm partial to Kicker. This would be good (maybe back off the gains in a bit to bring it down to 900 watts) however you can find it elsewhere for cheaper. That site only carries the newer amps, you can get a used one for a hell of a lot cheaper.

u just got on me bout askin if 1 that put out over 800 would work n ur tellin me 2 get a amp that puts out 1000?

no it should not blow your subs if you install and and set the gain correctly. are you install them your self?

Dude, I'm actually pretty impressed with my Boss amp.

I have a Boss CH1200M or some ish. I've been running it at 1-ohm, and it can run 1-ohm ALL DAY full tilt. Which I think is impressive. But, it's definitely over-rated. It doesn't put out 600 RMS @ 1-ohm, maybe 500 on a good day.

My only complaints is that the actual assembly was weak. My bass has started to rattle the heatsink off. If you open my trunk, you hear the heat sink hit the case. It made me LOL. I have to fix it and add some more metal for better cooling.

But I only paid $100 or so for it, if that. And it's been running 1-ohm for nearly a year now.

You can power your subs more than the nominal level. A lot of people do. Depending on the driver is the amount over you can do. But, giving each sub 100w RMS more than it's nominal should be fine.
