What kind of a difference can I expect?

Well I'm making some changes to my system:

I had a kenwood double din DPX-4020 in my F-150....

I'm upgrading to a pioneer AVIC-D1

I had a JL 300/4 amp pushing 4 sets of Boston Acoustics RC820 component speakers in all 4 doors and had a JL 250/1 pushing a JL sub under the rear seat.

I got another JL 300/4 amp and I am going to Bridge this amp to run the front to sets of Boston components and the rear Bostons will be run by the onther bridged JL 300/4.......

Think I'll notice a difference from the single JL 300/4 to the 2 bridged 300/4's?

I haven't done anything like this before --- I'm a novice... Just lookin' to see what to expect? Louder? Clearer at low volumes etc....

Thanks guys

TJ

if you ask me it was just a waste of money to fork out the $$$ for another amp to push components....... and helotaxi was right, you'll be lucky if you can tell a difference in the loudness

Not trying to be a smart a$$ but why would it be a waste of money?

What am I missing?

The one amp alone was pushing 75 watts per 4 channels.....

The 2 amps together bridged will push 150 watts per each component....

The BA component speakers are rated very high in watts (like 275).....

What do you mean he is only sending 25-30 watts to the speakers....He bridged his amp to send 150 to each side?...I agree that doubling the power will not make it twice as loud, however, I think he will notice a positive difference in his sound...
