Okay, i was putting my amp behind my seat then i had to reground it... i switched the ground then i took out the + from the amp so i can screw in easier... when im all done the last thing i had to do is put the + back in the amp, then when im screwing in i see lil sparks... then i go to under my hood and i had forgotten to unhook the - from the batt!!! Then i unhooked it and screwed in but when i turn on my car my amp goes into protect automatically, only thing their is to do now is check the ground, did i just blow my amp?

the amp wouldnt even turn on if the inline fuse was blown
Lol I just realized what your entire post said cuz I thot you just hit the power wire while the batt was still attached blowing the fuse..lol forgot the whole amp goes into protection thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif
You just running one amp?

Wow 25 posts per day...

Check to make sure all of your speakers are still working properly and none of them are grounded. I've had little sparks at the terminal before. Never shorted out my amp. If you siconnect all the speakers and have a secure powwer/ground connection, them apm is probably toast.

I dont get what your saying.

Did you read it. If your speakers are shorted, or grounded it can cause the amp to go in to protection. Disconnect all the speakers, If the amp still goes in to protection then it is the amp. What is so hard to understand...

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif I just woke up. I love Labor day.
I think its the ground that the screw is catching part of the lil boot that covers the cable union to the crimp connector im going to have to check that when i get back. It will **** if its the amp, it was signed by Dirk Ecker from USAmps just for me, i might just have to sell it, good thing is that its still on warranty.
