I bet you would guzzle piss and try to convince everyone on here to also guzzle piss if the dems claimed it cured covid
It's not like it taste bad. Plus it's sterile. Chinese people used to eat the emporer's shit. Plus you alt right retards are the ones trying to convince everyone to take and do anything to cure Covid. That is of course anything but the FDA approved vaccine.

If a low number has a huge impact, does it mean the number is significant or not?
In mid December- 75% of hospital ICUs were at 95% or better capacity. I n many places, they reached their limit. That's kind of a big deal. Where I live, they have send patients from hours away due to being "full-up" which has brought our area to almost "full-up" also. At least 20 hospital reported being at full capacity for 52 weeks straight.
In spite of some people stating otherwise om the forum (i.e "Florida has the lowest Covid rates in the country"): "Hospitals in Texas, California and Florida are among the most burdened in the country."

It'd be interesting to know that last time such strain on the system has occurred.
We have about 100,000 ICU beds in the US. There are about 150,000 people hospitalized with COVID. Ouch.

Comorbidity is interesting. If a fat guy gets shot and dies, do we blame the obesity, since a skinnier guy would have been easier to operate on and likely lived?
Covid is killing people that would have lived long lives, even though they have other issues. If we just let nature take its toll, who gets to be the first wave to get all of the diseases we vaccinate against? Do we just stop vaccinations as of day 1 of a New Year, to be equal to all people?

It sounds like a good idea, but would YOU submit to let nature takes it course if it meant immediate exposure to a deadly virus or disease? I'll bet you had your polio shots. Would you allow yourself to be directly exposed now so we can start building those immunities? You MIGHT survive.

it would be nice to know what capacity the hospitals were at during the worst flu season. It is also hard to compare the first wave versus current considering all the firings of unvaxxed staff, which necessarily lowers the number of beds available. Like many things, it is difficult to parse the data because policy changes and collection methods vary so much. PCR cycle threshold is but one example.

I had polio and all the other vaccines normies got in the '60s and early '70s plus those that kept me up to date with a career in the Marines (I bitched to high hell when they gave us anthrax shots). If I knew then what I know now, I don't know what I would have done.

I know the CDC lies, very plain to see when you look at Pfizer documents and see where they state there is not enough data to provide informed consent for pregnant and nursing women, yet the CDC recommends the vaccine for pregnant and nursing women, and that is but one incongruency. Pfizer's court history shows clearly they have a business model of corruption. True to form, it is being revealed, they are still true to that model. Unfortunately, vaccines are ripe for corruption due to the return on profit. Pfizer has made more in one year one the covid vax that the music industry. And people seem to think the shot s free so Pfizer must be doing it because they care.

Covid median IFR rate is .27% and that doesn't reflect how heavily it death is skewed to >70+ years of age or the fact that those who die are already on pharmaceutical life support. .27% is just a bit worse than the AVERAGE flu year, but on par with a BAD flu year. We've had bad flu years in the past, and there was no hysteria.

Omicron is more transmissible but far less deadly than delta (CDC says- less length of stay in hospital and far less likely to be hospitalized https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2022.01.11.22269045v1.full.pdf ). And yet we are locking back down and gearing up for passports.

In short Covid is effectively ZERO concern for healthy people.

Our condition is pitiful. We readily accept the yoke of lesser men and time and again we get duped by collisions between church, state, and corporations. If in the end, our success story is due to mandates and tyrannical actions combined with fearful subservience, then damned us to eternal hellfire. That is not a legacy nor a species I want to be a part of.

By lesser men you mean scientist, doctors, etc? We should instead listen to experts on a car audio forum, correct?

In my lifetime, I never heard reports about hospitals being overwhelmed like they are now. Regardless of how the data is collected, if that happened, it would be newsworthy, no?

Medicine is about money. Has been for ages. No surprise. So is food. I don't thin k farms exist because they care about people being fed any more than I think a pharma cares about the patient not being sick. Perhaps the DOCTORS care, but money is the motivator for ANY business to exist. And the ones that deliver the best make the most money. Phizer may be shite with their business practice, but if they deliver a product that works when others can't, do we say no to the product? What price morality?

It is skewed toward older people, but they are more likely to get sick from most ANYHTING. The IFR for serious injury from a fall increases with age too. Almost 50% of the dead from COVID are between 50-74 years old. in 2021, that group is not "elderly".
The flu of years past did not tear through the entire planet like COVID has. When was the last flu season that was so bad they were digging mass graves for people? In New York...

This is a tough one. Is it less deadly because it is weaker, or b/c vaccination is so prevalent? 85% of adults are vaccinated, and the amount of people getting hospitalized who are unvaccinated is well over 90%. That suggests it's the vax and not the disease.
Per the pdf you shared: "Risk of severe outcomes associated with Omicron infections, as compared to earlier SARS-CoV-2 variants, remains unclear."

Simply untrue, and I'll bet you know that. Worker shortage is huge right now as people take absence due to illness. Either our workforce is composed of a shlt-ton of seriously unhealthy people, or this is a damn nasty virus.
One in six people who get it will be seriously impacted. Your logic would suggest 16+% of our country is unhealthy.
Assuming you are a relativley healthy guy, have you ever gotten the flu or other nasty virus that kicks your ***? Try it when you have no sick leave. BIG concern.

This sounds like a speech or a historical piece you read somewhere.
But if it's truth, I'd have to honestly ask why you remain a part of it? Posting on a car audio forum seems the antithesis of what you suggest as your position of being in society at all.
And bringing religion into a discussion of science is a predestined fail.
