Speaking of a language fail…

I’m wrong that as an English speaking country, we should speak English as our primary language, and not have multiple “primary” languages?

Tell me: Why do you think we should not have English as our singular language of the US?
You're wrong because you're spinning the conversation from how English is spoken/written to arguing against other languages...I guess hyperbole is better than another lie...

Try again?
I’m all for English being spoken and written correctly, properly, accurately, etc.
I’m against English being bastardized simply for the sake of bastardizing.

Please tell us: How is that being “against” other languages?
Be clear in your explanation.

You're the only one talking about other langues 🤣🤣🤣

For Rob if he cares to be educated and rid himself of the ignorance he has towards Ebonics.

"At its most literal level, Ebonics simply means 'black speech' (a blend of the words ebony 'black' and phonics 'sounds'). The term was created in 1973 by a group of black scholars who disliked the negative connotations of terms like 'Nonstandard Negro English' that had been coined in the 1960s when the first modern large-scale linguistic studies of African American speech-communities began. However, the term Ebonics never caught on among linguists, much less among the general public. That all changed with the 'Ebonics' controversy of December 1996 when the Oakland (CA) School Board recognized it as the 'primary' language of its majority African American students and resolved to take it into account in teaching them standard or academic English."

What ignorance? I said I have no interest in it being a primary language or being melded with the primary language of the US.
What’s your opinion? SHOULD it be made our primary language instead of academic English? Should we be required to be a dual, triple, quadruple primary-language country?

I’ll assume you think yes, since you consider me racism for wanting English only.
What languages do you want to be primary here?

I am not referring to your tangent. I am talking about when you first started talking about this and you mentioned Ebonics and how you don't like it. The point is, it is recognized as a language of a people coming from different walks of life than you do. You think it is a bastardized English. In reality it is people adapting to English, combining with English. I assume you just think it is Black people speaking improperly or ignorantly or that you think they are uneducated. America IS a melting pot and everyone is going to bring a little bit of themselves into it. Maybe work on your bigotry.

How else do you bastardize a language except with other languages?

Have you noticed that the more you bury yourself with your lack of knowledge, the more emojis you use?

If you really need to ask that...you are so very far from being as intelligent as you puff yourself up to believe...

Your comprehension is weak. I said I didn’t want Ebonics melded with English.

And, I don’t want multiple primary languages in the US.

And I don’t want slang to replace words that don’t need replacing.
