Oh can't forget 40 days of night... The movie was ok but definately looked/sounded badass.

Yeah no shit. When I first got my HDTV (already had a PS3) I was like, ok I only really need the awesome movies on Blu Ray (I had a list of like 5)....I now have at least 30, lol

i hear ya man.. I had blus before I even had an hdtv and HT, I should have known it was gonna be an issue at that point :/

But I will admit. I started out buying blus for the awesome PQ.. But now 80% of the movies I buy have to have reference audio.. HD audio is the shit .. Especially when I get my folded horn done this weekend.. My house is in trouble .. Bigtime

Yeah now that I've got a nice tv, I've started down the home theater road...so far the only nice piece I own is my new Onkyo receiver. I bought a nice 12" Dayton sub, plate amp is on back order, and I think I'm going to build the enclosure this weekend. Speakers are some tiny bookshelf speakers and the center is this big Fisher 3-way cabinet that I bought at an auction for $2, lol. It's a little ghetto now, but as funds allow, I'll be upgrading piece by piece.

Indeed, pretty much ANY kind of aftermarket HT system is better than just the regular tv speakers...and I'm loving my receiver so far

Yea man thats what sucks about collecting shit.. AS soon as I would get a good collection going the next gen stuff was only a few years away.. I hope Blu lasts for a good 10-15 years, cuz this is the first "bandwagon" I jumped on, well right after hd-dvd shit the bed, which was a good thing..
