Hey guys,
So I've been using the below setup for a little over a year now and I've had one continuous complaint about it around sound quality. I run almost exclusively on Bluetooth from my phone (but have also tried AUX) and for some reason, I literally can't even hear my front door speakers at all (I actually find myself reaching down and feeling the door pretty often to confirm they are even moving). I feel like I'm basically running 50% tweeters and 50% subs. I know there is no way that should be the case but no matter what settings on my deck I try and mess with I can't really get any improvement.
I have tried taking it by Car Toys who did my install (I know...sorry) and they blame it on my deck not having enough equalizer options and saying my only option is buying a new deck. I'm not opposed to spending a few bucks to get this issue fixed but I'm worried I'd just be throwing money away upgrading the deck. If that is incorrect please let me know. Here is my setup:
Deck: Alpine CDE-HD137BT
Front Speakers: JL Audio C3-650 Convertible Component/Coaxial Speakers
Front Amp: JL Audio JX 360/2
Back Speakers: Stock Infinity
Subwoofers: 2x JL Audio 12w3v3
Subwoofer Amp: JL Audio 500/1
Is there some magical setting I need to find in order to fix this or am I really at the mercy of my dated deck?
