I agree that a 200+ count post isn't going to do anything. My opinion would be to require sellers without refs on here to ship first if it's to a buyer with a couple refs.

i say that if a person is new to the site and doesnt have refs or someone to vouch for them then sending money up front should be the rule.i had no problem doing it,currently buying from Splaudio.takes time to earn trust.just do your research on someone beforehand....jmo

it's been said before, and i'll say it again YOUR POST COUNT DOESN'T MEAN SH1T! you are not your post count. nobody cares how many times you posted, especially if it's nothing relevant. uyou could come in here and spout off a bunch of nothings in a couple days and get to 200, or you could spend a year, and just post in the classifieds and technical discussions and get 200. just look at all the posts ranger danger makes on a regular basis. haven't really seen any worth reading
well, that was a little over the top for me, but you get it. 200 post minimum would do more harm than good. maybe 25 would be realistic to ask. it was hard enough getting to 50 on diyma to buy anything. you can only block viewing and/or posting in a section, which means no buying either. moreso, i vote for a rule that all sales/trades must be done in a thread (save for vital info, like address/phone number/paypal, etc) and that you must use paypal if you have fewer than 10 feedback score on itrader. you can't block all scams, but i think these 3 rules would help a great deal, if only to protect when something does go south. i cannot tell you how much business i've done with those under 200, pretty much all good, and most of the good deals come from that same category.
