Its a demo car....they are regularly tested and reports are sent back on riding conditions etc etc.

This is pretty common to see around Detroit.

More than likely it is a prototype mustang.

since it is in MI, where they DO test all vehicles and aspects of daily driving them. It is more than likely a Ford Motor test vehicle that they are driving around and gathering real time data on. You live in MI, and have never seen these on the road??? Let me take a stab here, and guess this was at the Dearborn BB?
