i think it is nice to have some bass heard outside of car when in competitions and car shows and car meetings , u know ...

my thing can be heard @ full blast but not TOO far away. in any ways, i do have LOT , SHITLOAD of rattling. and therefore.. i know it is an AWFULL sound outside when ur near. so i NEVER turn it loud when people are around me.

and defenitly not in residential areas.

P.S wuts up with all the lanzar hate.. my amplifier does quite a nice job...

Yea I can understand wanting to be heard at comps. But what he wants is making everyone else here look bad.

My truck is extremely loud outside the vehicle at a distance. So says the last to cops that pulled me over a while back. After the last ticket, I decided I needed to bump responsibly. Most of the time with the windows up now. And If my window are down, I turn down the subwoofer level on the HU so it blends with the mids and highs

i was like this fellow who wants to be heard, just to get attention around people i know. If they think thier xplods and such can get louder than my 2 12" L7s then i have to show them wtf is up. But, after some good ear damage i decided that was dumb and am going got straight SQ. Before with my L7s it was all bass and that was only with rap. Now i plan on listening to what i enjoy such as some ben harper now and then, DMB, pink floyd, etc. I cannot wait.

i actually realized that frontstage is the very MOST important thing, and GOOD mid-bass that KEEP UP with subbass lines is hardest thing to have in a car .

btw if u wanna be heard more, focus on being loud more on the low end.(bigger box, lower tuning, and more power..)
