What is the secret?

ROFL....as far as bannin systems..wont happen..u better ban every loud car wit those big *** annoyyin muffler system..id rather hear sum nice loud bass outside a car then one of those ****in mufflers..

This is where you went wrong man.
Do you have kids?

I love my stuff loud and I mean really LOUD. But I know better than to play it as loud as possible with my windows down in residential areas.

Example: Im trying to get my kids to lay down for a nap and somebody drives by about the time they are almost asleep windows down cranked up and shaking my windows. My kids get up and wont go back down now I have cranky kids the rest of the day. Then that evening when Im trying to get them to go to bed the same thing happens and I am furious. Get the picture.

About the sound ordinances:

Since you dont seem to have a clue about sound ordinances heres whats going on in my city. You can get a ticket for having a stereo that can be heard 25ft away from the vehicle. They are now discussing a law that allow the police to impound your stuff for up to 6 months for repeated offenses. These type of laws are being created because of people who have no consideration for others.

People with your attitude are making it hard for everybody including those like us who take pride in our audio systems.
X2, i knew i forgot to qoute one of his post. I really doubt he has kids, i'd be willing to bet he's a sophmore in HS MAYBE a junior but doubtful

Actually your wrong. I brought that up at a city council meeting when they were imposing sound ordinances and they are strictly directed at stereo systems and not mufflers ect. I was pissed cause in kansas we can legally have straight pipes and they are friggin loud to the ear. A lot louder than any audio sytem around here.

Senior //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Bout to be out of this hoe.

And I also like hearing peoples' shit bump...but I guess most people don't. Whatever.

x2 for being pissed off about cranky kids. I had to throw a **** golfball toward a kid riding one of those mini-motorcycles down the street around 10 pm. He got the picture.

or motorcycles,

BTW when i said "banning" i was refering to exactly what you posted.

I blast my system loud as sh*t on busy roads and highways but not where communities are and where people live....I mean what are systems for if you dont blast it....People who have systems and never crank it up IMO are wasting good equipment

And they're better off with the Pyles and bosses

OK, I'll try a little here. Knowing I don't condone cranking it while doing 5MPH through ANY neighborhood, I can aprreciate you wanting to make it loud. It's why 90% of the people are here in the first place. You should help us help you first of all. What 10" MTX do you have? What amp is driving it? Is your box sealed or ported and what are its specs?

Some 10s if in the right box can make a lot of noise.

Who are you to tell me that I'm not grown up? I'm very mature. It is your OPINION that my desire is classified immature.
Actually it is more than opinion. It is an overwhelmingly Popular opinion that pissing off neighbors is immature, therefore that makes it pretty close to fact.

see first post //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

and i suppose i could refrain from driving through my neighborhood which leads to a dead end anyway and they would probably figure out what i was doing since i would go down and come back, i guess i could just blast it on the highway

CLOSE to fact is not fact.

Close enough for people to flame you for it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Anyway your first post doesn't say anythig other than ported. What is the cuft internally before port and what frequency is it tuned to?

Maybe you should try one of the low tuned box designs available in the sticky under box building section. Chances are the box you have is tuned really high. A lower tuned box may give the effect I think you are trying to describe.

The 1.65 @ 28 May fiot the bill or even 2 @ 27.

You also make no mention of your amplifier and its' specs.

And your the retards that give every person with a stereo a bad name...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif Grow up.
x2

And it doesn't really matter what size the sub is.I, unfortunately had a single 10", that from a block or two away during summer, sounded much louder than it really was.But I don't believe in a/c, so windows down. Then, when I had my 2 15" memphis PR's, vented in the same vehicle it was MUCH MUCH MUCH louder inside as well. But you could barely hear anything 10ft. from the vehicle with the windows down.Inaudible anything farther than 30ft. away.I loved it.I could cruise with the windows down, and not disturb everyone within a 1 mile radius.

Keeping sound INSIDE the car is a VERY good thing.
