Buy a carbon fiber pos from DD... its $50+.

Those carbon fiber things are cheaper for us to buy than MT dustcaps!!!

It's not 180 for a recone...
Its $100 for the recone

$30 for the basket

$8 for the gasket

$6 for the dustcap (although I dont know why you were quoted anything for a dustcap)

~$40 for shipping (it will probably be a lot less)

Recones cost the same whether we do the work or not. We do them for FREE. Its a free service. The only thing you pay more for when you send subs in fo a recone is the shipping cost.

You expected the recone to be $100... which it is. Did you expect the extra parts to be free?

The price is fair since you will get the kit pretty **** fast. i ordered one last monday and got it thursday, friday night i was wangin!

so how much do you think shipping will run, i also figured you would charge less if someone else would do it, i might just send the motor in, the guy is charging me 50$ for the recone, so shipping should be cheaper than that

i was quoted 150+ shipping to have a TC9 reconed to an 18 with SX soft parts. That is a fair price IMO becausenot just any old schmo can throw a coil in a gap and make it work.
