What is the difference between these 2 L7's??????

I was looking to buy a 15 inch L7 for my setup, or at least looking at where the cheapest place to get one was and I looked on ebay and found the following:

First L7 for $205 shipped HERE: and its the 06 version I believe

and then I was looking at the same seller, and I saw this one, and it says 04, so 2 years older but it was more expensive?

What the hell are the differences? Different voice coils are something???

the 06 is Impedance 2 ohms, and the 04 is Impedance 4 ohms, I guess the newer one is cheaper(from this seller) and its 2 years more recent, hey what the heck thats a deal $205 for a new L7, if anyone can beat that price PM me or email me at knfdeals@yahoo.com

Personally I wouldn't buy from that dealer. He doesnt show any pictures of the subs and there is no reason that the 04 should be more money, IF they are both brand new. wiring options on a kicker sub do not change the price, dual 4 and dual 2 should be the same price. And it looks like all he did was cut and paste his description from a website.

well considering his feedback is over 500 and with 99.5 positive, what could you possibly have against him? or do you just not like ebay?

you must be new to ebay.... just cause someone has 99% feedback, it doesnt mean s h i t ... ive bought stuff off ebay power sellers that had 99% feedback with over 5000+ ratings and it wasnt what i expected at all... had to return it and it took 6months before they returned my money

Why is the price so much different? Cause some people don't know any better and will pay that for a older model sub. Prices change so much throughout the internet. You will find 10 websites selling a sub for $450 and then run into it for $150 at another site.

Ive been using ebay for like 5 years now buddy, and havnt had any bad experiences and have bought over 100 items if not more. And quite frankly 99.5% feedback does mean "shit" aka something(think about that) dur dur. Means that 99% of people were happy with their purchase. Im pretty sure everyone has a bad experience on ebay from time to time. I just havnt had mine(yet)

The main point is this, I had never seen an L7 for that cheap before,$205 shipped, and the sellers rating is 99.5 over 600, The odds are against me getting screwed.

I've seen current year 12L7's for $198 shipped from a site before. Can probely still hunt it down if you want me to. Sweet deal if ya ask me. Just gotta shop around. And use Price Matching/Beating!

WOw dude 198 shipped? from a SITE? **** I have been looking at all of the sites before and never saw that kind of deal, ebay is pretty much the cheapest ive found any audio equipment. I read a post you made earlier on price matching, but even with the prices matching sometimes doesnt beat ebay, I guess sometimes it does. If you wouldnt mind go ahead and hunt that down for me, and let me know, Id appreciate it.

FOr instance some guy told me the best place to buy kinetic batteries was on this one website(I wont mention because he asked me not too) I checked it out and ebay was still like $40 cheaper

I ordered 2 10" type r's and a kenwood amp and they came to me right away. No problems with them at all and i read the reviews online from resellerratings.com and they were a lot better than other online sellers. 212$ for 15" l7.

no that I find it. 204 for the 2ohm.. cant beat that price
