I run a 7998 with the KCA-410C.

I can absolutely run without an ipod adapter, Bluetooth, etc... I hate talking on the phone and I only listen to lossless music... Whether it's flac or wav. The only time I listen to .mp3 is if it's a pre-release web file and it has to be V0 or at least 256kbps..

I can't stand lossy music... I'm an audio engineer and I hear everything on my setups.

Just took my 7998 out, contemplating selling it. There is a little button wear, but the mechanism is perfect.

I have an Alpine CDE123 and I love it. Plus I have an Iphone and it works great with it.

its worth the extra cash tho josh,you get a t/a 16 band eq ,very nice blue tooth, and 3 way active ,i mean this deck gives you what the alpines cant unless you but the imprint
