I think what we are saying is it seems you are still fairly new to car audio from your posts. Installing 8 15" woofers in a car along with getting your electrical up to snuff is not a newb task.i didnt post this thread for criticism!! so if you dont have any info on what i asked dont write on it *******!! thanks to the users that actually helped
His question was what sub for 8 15's. I do not think, other than voltage of the pre-outs, that a head unit is going to make that much of a difference for 8 15's.what are u talking about. the HU is very important. it just really has no relation to the amount or size of subs used.
As he says. Or you can go with a HDD head unit - don't believe hard drives skip //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifif you want something that virtualy NEVER skips and plays scratched cds very well...look into older eclipse units, the 8443 and 8053 specifically.
did you read the first post? hes asking what HU, not what sub. but if you want good SQ you need a good deck. not just 4v preouts. you need a good DA converter, solid grounds, high V preouts. you need everything you can get to make sure you have a clean signal. which only comes with good decks. maybe you can find a Dual HU with 4V preouts, but that in no way makes it a good deck, not by a longshot. His question was what sub for 8 15's. Obviously there are better choices, and then not so great of choices, but overall....signal to amps, amps well, they amplify to the speakers.

well yes of course. but you dont buy a HU for SPL you buy it for SQ only (if its a choice between the 2). but yes i agree the OP is a total tool bag.Riddle me this. What do 10 6x9's, 8 15's and Sound Quality have in common. To me, the two have nothing in common with SQ; it sounds more like a penis extension..not bashing the thread starter, just calling it how I see it.
Thanks for the info that i could actually use!!! and if you guys would have read in my other threads i am new to the subwoofer scene!! as for the deck that i have now my parents bought it for me for christmas and i never give back gifts so i used it.
to the people that are wondering why i have 10 6x9s. it was simply because i love loud music and i like customizing my truck so i did something i havent seen before! and my end product was great . i dont need a "penis extender" i got enough to please all of you guys girlfriends!
and to the guys that have 4 or more subwoofers there is really no point in having all that in your ride if you cant hear the music unless your car is strictly for competitions! thats another reason i have 10 6x9s
