What Is The Best Head Unit For 8 15" Woofers

i didnt post this thread for criticism!! so if you dont have any info on what i asked dont write on it *******!! thanks to the users that actually helped
I think what we are saying is it seems you are still fairly new to car audio from your posts. Installing 8 15" woofers in a car along with getting your electrical up to snuff is not a newb task.

As for headunits as others said it does not really matter, get something with at least 4 volt outs and the most popular seem to be the Alpine 9835 and Pioneer Premier 880

Ahh the new Fagboy of the forums..... 8 15s is a very big thing i would reccomend at least 1 head unit per 2 subwoofers, as andrew said pyle makes great headunits for your application. Also they are very light on the pocket.

But i must ask where are you fitting 8 15s with your 10 6 x 9s.... Sounds like a task get it?

i agree. you're all over the place. earlier today it was 5 machs you wanted. there's alot of planning for the kind of system you're doing with a blow through and mucho power.

what are u talking about. the HU is very important. it just really has no relation to the amount or size of subs used.
His question was what sub for 8 15's. I do not think, other than voltage of the pre-outs, that a head unit is going to make that much of a difference for 8 15's.

Obviously there are better choices, and then not so great of choices, but overall....signal to amps, amps well, they amplify to the speakers.

Stop making so many threads. You obviously have too much money for your own good (judging by your last threads). Its obvious you dont know enough about car audio to handle the kind of stuff you are wanting to do. 11 subs and 20 comps and all this crap you are wanting to put in your truck. Then you come and ask questions that remind of the random moron i see on the street talking about how his friend blew out a window with audiobahn. 6 threads about what you should get for your truck is too many in one 9 hour period.

if you want something that virtualy NEVER skips and plays scratched cds very well...look into older eclipse units, the 8443 and 8053 specifically.
As he says. Or you can go with a HDD head unit - don't believe hard drives skip //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

and you can also go with the iDA-X001 Digital Media Receiver form Alpine.

Lot's of choice, just work with the money you have.

did you read the first post? hes asking what HU, not what sub. but if you want good SQ you need a good deck. not just 4v preouts. you need a good DA converter, solid grounds, high V preouts. you need everything you can get to make sure you have a clean signal. which only comes with good decks. maybe you can find a Dual HU with 4V preouts, but that in no way makes it a good deck, not by a longshot.

and thats just talking about the signal to the amp. youre a dumbass if you base your HU choice solely on its signal. there are many many other important aspects in chosing a HU like ease of use, skip protection, features, EQ, TA, HPFs, LPFs, etc. this newb needs to do some more research b4 he makes anymore dumb threads like this or goes wasting his money on some more crap like his Dual HU.

Riddle me this. What do 10 6x9's, 8 15's and Sound Quality have in common. To me, the two have nothing in common with SQ; it sounds more like a penis extension..not bashing the thread starter, just calling it how I see it.

well yes of course. but you dont buy a HU for SPL you buy it for SQ only (if its a choice between the 2). but yes i agree the OP is a total tool bag.

Thanks for the info that i could actually use!!! and if you guys would have read in my other threads i am new to the subwoofer scene!! as for the deck that i have now my parents bought it for me for christmas and i never give back gifts so i used it.

to the people that are wondering why i have 10 6x9s. it was simply because i love loud music and i like customizing my truck so i did something i havent seen before! and my end product was great . i dont need a "penis extender" i got enough to please all of you guys girlfriends!

and to the guys that have 4 or more subwoofers there is really no point in having all that in your ride if you cant hear the music unless your car is strictly for competitions! thats another reason i have 10 6x9s

Chances are these guys know what the f*ck they are doing and will take a dump on your 6x9's with 1 good set of comps.. I guarentee it.. and I bet my 1 subwoofer will make your 8 15's implode, Why you ask?? because you, sir, know jack shit about car audio... but answer me this, What will you have powering all of your 15's? 4 Boss 1200w's? go go along with the 2 boss 1200w's you already have???
