what is the best Command and Conquer game?

I am looking to buy a computer game to pass some of my spare time and have always enjoyed playing command and conquer red alert 2. I know it is outdated and old but I like these types of games. Now there are a lot of different ones out and I would like opinions on them. Command and Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath looks pretty good, just would like opinions before my purchase.

C&C 3 Tiberium wars was pretty good. Looks really good compared to the older C&C's. Also try Bioshock really good game and takes quite a while to get through.

bad question to ask, the old Red Alert 2 was the best but not the newest and is pretty outdated

Supreme Commander is pretty awesome if you can appreciate it. try it out it's like $30

Yea I love red alert but I was just curious about all the new released command and conquer games. I am not really into online play I just like to skirmish the computer and pass time.

not the same time of game but, play some soviet strike always was a fun game.

I'd go for the C&C boxset. It has all of the previous versions, and are able to install and run in XP without a lot of headaches like some older versions are.

C&C3 did get pretty good reviews, but if you're just playing skirmishes, the superweapons can kind of rig a battle I hear.

I just play the skirmish part of the game, just a question do all the other command and conquer titles have skirmish modes? Such as command and conquer tiberium wars 3?

Tiberian Dawn was the original and most classic. Kick *** music also. I would get the GOLD version for use with Windows95

i actually just bought a package at best buy like a year ago, it was all of the command and conquers from beginning to start, i think it was like 60 bucks. then you can play them all and pick for yourself. 60 bucks for like 10 games. not bad.
