Also if you would tell us your budget, what kind of power your looking for, and what you want either it be sound quality, SPL (loudness), or a mix of both would help also.

Pretty much anything I listed above will have good SPL and sound quality. Allthough I think ED is geared more toward Sound Quality than SPL but they will still get fairly loud in a ported box while still retaining sound quality.

Anyone else wanna help out? Perhaps give him some final options on what he needs.

Actually I believe all those subs forementioned are "SQ" woofers except for the Death Penatlty, which I do believe was geared for SPL(and is **** good at it!).

I would recommend a 12XXX or a Magnum D2.

The d2 if you have tight space and the XXX if you have all the space your little heart desires.

there is no one best sub company

 

there are well build and well preformers and ones that are a combination of both, but you need to listen for your self to see what your ears like the best
