what is going on???

well i have a pioneer HU and this past sunday i went to work and it worked fine..then when i started to drive to the gf's house it would keep opening and closing and opening and closing.. it would still do that untill i took off the outer faceplate. and then i tired hitting the eject button the cd did come out but only one time. so i really have no background with these so can somebody help me?? oh ya and the HU did light up but not anymore..

its in a 94 integra ls

my guess.

your H/U is fried, take it back and get it replaced if you can, if not, you probably need a new one...
