Yeah,i thought so 2.. So acctualy the smartest thing to do is turn filters off on both amps (Subwoofer amp,and components amp)
What about the gain settings? For the components i am buying Alpine Spr 17s,i have a amp that is 2x180,and the speakers are declared @110wrms.. Am going to set HPF at 80hz,and usings the ''gain'' formula with DMM am going to set the gain to give about 120wrms,it will have power in reserve which means cleaner signal, better sound if i am correct,so that is not a problem..
But what about setting gains on the sub? First of all i know i have to bridge it..Ok that's easy, plus from one minus from other chanel its all writen down on the picture.. But what after that? Should i set gain with DMM or how? I know that setting SUBWOOFER gain by listening is very difficult even for pros, and this is my FIRST setup i dont have a clue.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Osciloscope i dont have, and dont know ANYBODY that has it,i mean hey-i live in Serbia lol..
As u see my amp has CLIPING LIGHTS,i guess that they are there to ''lower the signal'' when it (signal) begins to clip..
So i ask u,what is the best way to set gain for my sub?
http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/MB_Quart_RAA2400/ this is the amp i know.. We all know that MB Quart is RF's little sister,at least it was.. As for the woofer i wrote it up,but i'll write it again the model is MB QUART RWE 352 2+2ohm 700wrms 15''subwoofer..
