the are the same. the first number in that series is the number of 0's it has. it is called 1 ott. 2/0 is 00 and is called 2 ott. 3/0 is 000 and is three ott and so forth

There are varying sizes of 0awg cable. 1/0 being the smallest. You can then move to 2/0, 3/0 etc etc each increase in the first number is an increase in cable diameter.

yea, 1/0 awg is pretty thick,but 2/0awg is even thicker...I dont think anybody would need to go beyond 2/0awg.i dont even know if there is a fusebblock that can support that thick of a wire.

A. 1\0 guage wire is the same thing as 0 guage wire. wire thickness goes from higher numbers (like 32awg) down to 0000 guage (ie; 4ott wire, 4\0 guage). its pretty much like saying -4 guage wire. lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

and usually the people using 4\0 have custom distroblocks that are made with slabs of brass with bolts on them. and they dont use fuses because they are in competition and frying 4\0 wire is extremly hard heh.
