Thing to the left of my car, as most of you know, has a small 2.0 liter engine. Right now it is pumping out 435 rwhp and approx 280 torque. For those that say that it isn't much torque, it weighs about 400-500 pounds less than a corvette (2800 pounds). It's going back to InlinePro soon in Virginia to get a new intercooler, radiator, retune, and axles/driveshaft/rear diff and will be over 600 hp on C16 racegas and over 500 hp on pump gas on a conservative tune, on a STOCK BLOCK. Ya, a corvette can put out more power, but it also costs more, and costs more to mod. Don't underestimate the power of rice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Im almost postive that the "Ricer" term, means that the fuel will turn into a rice shaped bead before it is fed into the injecter therefore giving better gas milage. So almost any cars can be ricers.

No need for race gas

427 CID 725 BHP / 730 lbs-ft of torque

0-60 MPH 3.2 seconds with street tires

1/4 mile 9.50 @ 145 MPH with ET street tires

Estimated top speed 230+

Lingenfelter 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty Excellent drivability, highway mileage not adversely affected

Kind of hard to beat a 9.50, 725hp/730tq and a top speed of 230mph with a 3 yr 36k mile warranty

and like how most every other car besides the Honda have a form of VTEC

After all the work thats been done to that S2000, theres no chance in hell its as cheap as a vette, or as reliable.

Stats alone make me....

and if you spent as much money modding a vette it would eat that thing as a snack
But the corvette costs 40K more to begin with. I would consider the s2000's mods fair just to break even on money out of pocket vs the corvette.

Ricing is a state of mind.

It doesn't matter if you have a Honda Civic or a Dodge Viper. If you're going to put a fart-can on and tribal vinyls down the side, it's Rice either way.

i think we cannot deny the fact that a v6 or smaller can never be more powerful or faster than a v8, it just is not possible if you mod them both the same the v8 will always be alot faster
