removed the back seat? yeah... it would be louder...

remove the back of the fold down armrest? louder, yes. significantly louder? possibly... worth cutting up your ride? that's up to you... do the seats not fold down or anything? that would be a much more simple solution...

No I took that pic before I knew that the plastic piece actually comes of. You have to unscrew it. The seats do not fold down sadly.
