What HU to buy?

i already got the RF3sixty.2, it's has already have all the features such as independant eq for fl/fr/rl/rr speaker and also time alignment.

i'm interested in the pioneer 880, 780, 680 and the eclipse cd7000, cd5000... but since i got most of the features from the 360.2, which one will be the best value for the money? or is there any other brand/model that have a much better value to be link up with the 360.2?

i think i've read something bout the nakamichi, although they can give a very good sq, they also tend to break easily... or does that only happen to some unfortunate soul?

It seems the cheapest option IIRC is to get a 9419 Alpine on eBay for a couple hundred bucks. Could be a 9409, but either way it gives out great SQ for a marginal price.

basically you just want the transport,rca and dac of an aftermarket unit. i think you would be suprised what can be had nowadays with 170-300 bucks. you dont need any more bells or whistles.

I would get a deck that has a great CD transport and not much else. With the 360, you already have most of the features that high end decks have.

With a 3sixty.2, my emphasis should be looking into a FINE SQ deck, with as little bells and whistles as possible-a deck that simply is a high quality,precision reading geared transport that sounds great.

In not too high a budget I would look into the Nakamichis cd400(no mp3)/CD500(mp3), the RF 8240/50 (no mp3, made by Denon)can be had for good prices as well.
