What happens if...

You can wire your subs to 2ohms, so you'll get whatever that amp puts out at 2ohms, divided between the sub...each sub gets half. Do you actually have the stuff already?

If it is a decent amp, and does rated power, then I'd get it and run it at 2ohms. Then if you feel like upgrading in the future you have the ability to run it at 1ohm for more power...or you could just do that in the first place and get some beefier subs, if your electrical can handle it.
