Hey all, i got a question for you.
First what i have in my car. My headunit is a pioneer DEH-490IB, rear speakers are pioneer components, my sub was a Dayton audio RSS265HF-4 10" rated at 600watts peak. The amp im running on is a kenwood KAC-9104D.
Now my problem, was driving along listening to my music fine. Turned the car off and started it up about half hour later and the only sound i had was coming from my two front speakers.
I wouldn't think the sub would have blown from how high i listen to music. The headunit bassboost is at 0, bass boost on the amp is very low. Other settings are low as im personally afraid of blowing my sub (irony?).
Im new to the car audio scene so bear with me. The sub cone is popped out of the speaker basically. It will no longer move up or down. If i fade all the sound to the rear speakers and turn the volume up high i can get sound out of them. Theres no distortion or anything, it sounds normal.
So, i really just want to know what you guys think might have happened? Is it my fault? headunit malfunction? Well, thanks in advance for the advice on what happened. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
