use a DMM and make sure its getting power and if not try to figure out why and where you are losing power. the DMM will help figure out whats wrong with your HU

You can pick up a DMM at any home improvement store, probably even wal-mart. It's just a digital multi-meter, which can test currents, voltage, etc.

The first step is finding out if you're getting power as mentioned, hopefully you're not and it's a loose wire somewhere, possibly in the harness?

i got one for $15 at walmart.... also what HU is it? might want to check the use in the back.

it doesnt have a fuse on the back of the HU.. do u think there could be one inside the HU?
