What happened to Kicker?

Why not keep it simple and clean like their old stuff - Competition C10/12a, ZR series amps, their impulse line? I'm pretty sure their quality is still there but all their new stuff is just too flashy. I guess that's what it takes to make a sale these days now.

Kicker makes stuff that sells -- and they do sell ALOT of stuff. Answered your own question I guess //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Alot of customers like a bit of flash so Kicker gives them what they want.

i dont see how any of kickers amps are *flashy*. I think they look rather nice IMO. I would rather have a solid metal cased amp, then a cheap plastic cased one...They seem fairly simple to me. They might not be all black like some other brands on this forum...but that doesnt mean theyre flashy. Pyle makes amps that are more flashy then kicker.
