iraggi or Excessive Amperage?

of these 2 compaines which do you guys prefer? i was looking at some of the feedback left for iraggi on ebay seems some people had to wait a month and another got a cracked alt..so i started looking at Excessive Amperage...what do you guys think?

I just ordered my EA alt, sounds like Iraggi alts can be a hit or miss alternator seems like a lot of lemons from them but just from what i heard

Nate is far better with customer service and you WILL get your alt when you buy it.

also i need your opinions on these specs..of these alts which would you go with for a 4000 watt system..

300amp/135 amp idle

280 amp/145 amp idle

260 amp/155 amp idle

i just sent EA a email for price quote so i'll see how it goes..only other ho alt ive owned was by ohio generators about 5-6 years ago..

same here with owning a ohio alt, I called them for a price quote for a new one and it was like $550 where as EA was like 300 for the same thing

i got a 280 amp from iraggi. hes hit or miss. ive had great luck with him, no problems and actually been able to contact him, but i have friends hes screwed over too

I have one from EA and it's got shit for amps at idle, my stock alt puts out twice as much as the high output one from EA. The customer service is great and the prices are pretty good, but the alt is useless unless the rpm's are at 2000. I had my 200 amp alt tested and it was putting out 30 amps at idle, where my stock one puts out 60 at idle. I only put it in before I hit a show, and then it's only worth it if I can sit inside and rev the engine during a run.

I had my EA in my old Pathfinder for around 2 years without a problem. I actually ended up blowing it, but that was due to it being nearly submerged in water (Nissan decided to put the alternator underneath the engine). 'Twas a good alt, though. Never got it tested, but ran a ton of power from many different amps with no problems.

My EA is great. Puts out the full current at 2k rpm. Doesn't put out at idle and Nate is a pretty cool guy. Communication is all right.
