I've been planning to buy another mm1400.1d for a long time, usually they went on ebay for about 240 on a bunch of different ebay stores, but now they've disappeared!

what happened to autotek? It's hard to find it on some websites too

I heard rumor they're coming out with a new line but I can't find info about it, is this true?

Never tried the older stuff, but my 1 2000, 2 3000s, and now 2 4000s have never given me a problem.

Yeah they weren't as good as zed audio when they changed over, but in the last 4 years I'd say they made very good progressive changes to their line up that are probably now very comparable. Even then, before those 4 years the amplifiers still were not bad at all

Okay - I would say that's most likely a fair evaluation.

I have no direct experience with any of Autotek's most recent offerings so I suppose I ought to pipe down and keep quiet about things I have no personal knowledge of.

But of the brands Maxxsonics has acquired it's sad, to me, that those various companies overall quality, for the most part, suffered.
