What happened between RE and ED?

Cant search for just RE or ED, thats the reason for the post. I was just curious, because I always see David from RE knocking ED in his posts, just wondering what caused all of it.

A slew of reasons ...
I most specifically remember David calling eD on its "lack of steel crisis" for the reason why their products had been delayed heavily ... David said it was BS ...

Why would David be so upset about that? Realistically, how would that matter to his company?

Is there a link to an explanation of the entire thing?

FYI, Im not choosing sides, just want information. I have an RE sub, and an ED comp amp.
