Think I should buy a wire stripper or could I use a razor blade to strip the wires? I had a wire stripper before and it really sucked.

i like my box cutter, as long im like cutting anything thinner than 16awg.

just push the blade in till you feel it hit the wire, then rotate the wire, pull the shielding and it comes right off. works great on stripping kicker hyperflex 0ga's too :O
