I disagree. If you are a member of a certain religion, it wouldn't make sense to be "embarassed" to play that type of music. 'Cause that to me means you're ashamed of you're religion (or don't want people to know your religious background). Like any genre of music, there's good & bad music. I don't like all gospel, but am not ashamed to play it in my car.

I took this thread to mean music that you like, but won't play in your car.

I have entirely banned modern rock i.e.: Three Doors Down, Breaking Benjamin, Staind, Seether... any of that bullshit. Absolutely horrible.

Also i will not stand for hardcore or post hardcore ... that shit drives me insane. Examples of this are: Chariot, As I Lay Dying, Fear Before The March of Flames, Every Time I Die, Norma Jean, Saosin ...

Mmmm i also despise any metal/heavy metal/thrash metal/grindcore ... all mindless trash.

Also hate hardcore punk and most "real" punk.. also garbage...

I wouldn't say Squad Five-O is an awesome band anymore... lol their latest release was horrible. The bass player from my band and I went to the tour they were on to promote that CD and it was at a major venue and there were at most 15 people there. It was hilarious. And they didn't play anything off Bombs Over Broadway and thats all i wanted to hear lol. I haven't listened to squad five o in forever. But anyway, Squad Five-O has to their credit the most prophetic album cover of all time. This came out August 15, 2000 ... And look at the picture...

lol...this is part of what I have posted under music interests on my myspace profile...

Music I dont like? Metal, Pop Rock, Emo, Pop-Rap. I think for the most part it breeds stupidity and whiney suicidal depressed teenage kids. I know there are exceptions to every rule and I am in no way tring to call everyone who likes any of these genres an 'idiot', but lets face it, thats all I've seen for the most part...and I can hear it in the music. Disclaimer : I know lots of old metal heads and they are all cool in my book cause they know whats up.
