what enclosure volume would you recommend?

I am going to be getting 2 jl audio 13w6v2d4's and I was wondering what size enclosure would be perfect for both sq/spl applications. Jl audio website recommends 1.625cubicfeet/3 for each woofer but that seems a little to big. They are going in the back of a 1991 cadillac sedan deville so I should have plenty of room for a good sized enclosure. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

winisd is your friend. of course you have to factor in cabin gain too but it helps.

1.6 cu ft seams big???? ill asume there sealed, wich seams about right to me. 12 sealed are around 1-1.25 cu ft. 15s sealed are 1.75-2.25 cu ft, and your right in the midle. if your woried about not enough out put, u can build the box a bit smaller, say 1.45 cu ft and add polly fill if u feel the out put is enough but doest get low enough
