What drivers to pick for a diy 3 way design?

I've got to the point where I've done pretty much all I could out of a 2 way system. The seas lotus proved to be unbeatable in 2 driver setup. I have a 3 way system in mind and I need some opinions on driver selection:

8 inch morel hybrid or seas excel (don't know what to pick) (63hz-500hz operating range)

Vifa 3 inch dome midrange d75mx-31-08 (500hz-2500hz)

Seas Lotus Reference 1 inch aluminum dome (2500hz up)

I can't make up my mind on the woofer selection. I need an 8 ohm driver with real good midbass. I know the seas driver is smoother above 150 hz but bellow? Sub stage: 2 12 inch re xxx sealed, possibly switching to 3 id max 12's sealed running of an orion 2500d.

I also lack a bandpass xover for the mids. Is it ok to simply high pass it at 500hz and let it naturally cross with the tweeter? This is why I picked the vifa 3 inch dome, dips very low at high frequencies.

Soundstage and imaging wise the placement will be: woofers in stock door location, mids mounted high on the door panel and as far as I can get them to the front of the panel, tweeters in the A-pillars. Car is a 2000 accord coupe. I figured the high mid placement will elevate the soundstage a bit and the A pillar mounted tweeters will bring some depth too.

Does it seem like a decent setup? What would you run in a 3 way. Don't include 8 inch subs please, mounting depth cannot exceed 3.5 inches. Kick panel mounts are out of the question, I drive stick and I need all my leg room.

I would need an hp at 500hz and a low pass at 2500hz. I can only do the high pass. I looked at the frequency response graph and I see the sound pressure level of the frequencies diminishes a lot after 2500hz. My question is if the speaker reproduces weak output at 2500hz+ Is a low pass filter still a must?

ic what you are saying. umm i know theres plenty of mid range drivers that can play full range. what i might need to know as well is your processing? what equipment do you have? because its very possible if you have a built 3 way crossover on your HU and your amps have built in crossovers as well, its possible to use a combo of both to correctly cross each speaker.

I have the alpine 9845 but I don't want to use the internal 3 way crossover. I want to be able to control rear stage and front stage independently to turn of rear stage when I don't have passengers. My amps do 50-5000hz hp or lp but no bandpass-only one filter element per 2 channels.

Extremis4" lotus mids

Scan-Speak D2904/6000-00
Are the extremis going to be able to match an 8 inch driver in midbass output? I think these only come in a 6.8 inch configuration correct?

I know the lotus mids are better than the vifa's but the sensitivity is very low with cone mids and I can't mount them anywhere due to high depth measurements

Is that the scan-speak ring radiator tweet? that's a sweet one, same thing I can't mount them on the pillars and I've tried to place them low but I keep covering them with my legs not that I can do a kickpanel mount anyways.

Use the crossover on your deck and run your rears of *puke* HU power with an inline L-pad up at the dash that you can turn off. If you are running an aftermarket amp for the rear then just Y-out the bandpass output of your HU and use an adjustable L-pad with that or put an extra remote turn on wire just for that amp with a switch at the dash. The missing tweets in the rear your passengers won't notice.
