Looks like someone abused their subs. I have never EVER seen a IDMAX blow or have a tinsel lead issue. TBH It looks like Clipping.

I think I would've heard some distortion and I just hooked them up so I had my trunk open listening to them. Volume was only on 23 out of 40.Looks like someone abused their subs. I have never EVER seen a IDMAX blow or have a tinsel lead issue. TBH It looks like Clipping.
I plan on it as soon as I get timeSo basically you say the tinsel lead came loose? So just fix it. I would take it apart and fix it, super easy to do. You had them in your trunk, you powered them with a amp, lead came loose. I know ID started to use V4 cones on V3 baskets when stock ran low and they were making the transition to V4 drivers.
