that means power input can be as high as 18v...which you don't have

exactly what it says.... it can handle 18 volts

Dang, ok, I got it. I wasn't sure if it meant it needed 18 volt supplied to operate or if it could handle up to 18 volts during operation. Thanks for the help, meanies!
