I think that when i ran it at full pass it allowed the power to not be focused on the lower frequencies which made the hits softer cause some of the power was being used to put out the higher frequencies, so it could be just bottoming out. and i can't quite remember exactly what the recommended box size is and i can't find the flippin paper which made me mad, but i know there was a .3 involved so it might have been 1.03 cuft. and if that's the case, and those specs are there for the quality of the speaker, then 1.2 would be a considerable amount of space as opposed to 1.03... so i could have just made the box too big, which isn't a problem. i'm going to go to work and try to get some time to put some peices of plywood in it.johnsonFull pass lets the subwoofer run at all frequencies which isnt wasnt meant to do. Theyre designed to play the "sub" frequencies.
