Well here is my dilemma, I built a box for my 2 Sony XS-L122P5 (I know they are crap, but at the time I bought them I didn't know as much as I do now) and the box is 1.7 cu ft per speaker, wich is .7 bigger than the recomended box. They are starting to sound funky and I was wondering if I should just port the box which would make the box closer to the manufacturer's recomendations (1.5 cubes). Do you think I should make 2 ports for it? and also, how long should the ports be to get the best spl?
