What does Qes mean?

Mine eclipse manual didn't have anything about Qes in it, SW8102.4 and looking at the the different things I need to decide on a box enclosure, and somebody tell me what Q means? So what exactly does Speaker Electrical Q mean? Its a 10" 1000w max 500rms sub single voice coil.

Qes is a measurement of the control coming from the speaker's electrical suspension system (the voice coil and magnet). Opposing forces from the mechanical and electrical suspensions act to absorb shock.

summed up, the amount of control that is given by the electrical components of the setup. qes is generally only used with qms to find qts which can be thought of how much control the speaker has over the cone. low qts = more control, so you can use ported, higher = less control so you can used sealed.
