yeah i have stock speakers, didnt plan on getting diff speakers if i dont have to. and, no, im having a local audio store install it for me.

you are really asking alot if you only have $500+-, and you want a complete system professionally installed, unless you get the cheapest subs/amp possible.

You can get "decent" subs/amp on ebay used for around $300 total, a decent head unit for $75(used), and misc install items inc. rca's remote wire, power/ground/fuses, and harness and dash kit. All that'll run around $500, but install may vary.

I'd read up, and install yourself, and save $100-200.

Its actually very easy once you inderstand it.

well yeah im sure it wouldnt be hard to install it myself if i just read the instructions and read up on here and the internet a little bit...and dontrevme, my music preference is mostly hiphop and rap...occasionally listen to diff stuff. but i was hoping to get a bass remote or a deck with bass control,im not really looking to bump my dave matthews haha

i was looking at maybe 2 12" Alpine type E's or S's (only about a 30 dollar difference for each) an amp to power whatever it needs to power. and the Kenwood KDC-MP532U..or something equivelent to it. are the E's worth the price do you think?

find a used deck. i've seen alpines for $50, so it's possible if you look hard enough. ($50)

1 12" or 15" (go for 15)" sub setup, maybe a kicker cvr, pa-fubr, infinity perfect/kappa, used type r. find the cheapest box you can, pref. local and used. ($60+, and $30+box)

get a cheap 600-1000 watt amp depending on which sub you get. (fosgate 501s, directed 600, hifonics 1206, etc ($90).

My prices are obviously bottom of the barrell, but i've seen these items for sale, sometimes even less. if you try hard enough, on here, ebay, and locally...you can put together a system for under $200. If you want to save more money, get your own wiring kit. $30+. Use the rest for the install or getting better equipment.
