Tobacco is addicting. Started dipping at 14. Quit dipping at 17 and started smoking. Stopped completely right after I turned 18, then started smoking a little bit. Maybe like a pack every two weeks. Really hard to quit when most everybody you know uses tobacco.

All it took for me was one puff of a cigarette and BAM, I was a smoker for about 4 years. After a few attempts I quit and haven't touched a cigarette in almost a year and a half, but I still get tempted whenever I see a friend light one up, especially if I'm drinking.
