what it states when i start my car and run it at 14.6V and my system hit it goes down to 13.5 right, does the alt stop the drop of the volts ? and why do people say i should buy more batterys when they are at 12V........... the souce of the power is the alt what the hell

im looking to run a AP3000d to two memphis mojo 15's...... i have one 116ah battery and a starting battery.

if i really want i only turn the amp about half way it drops the volt to 12.9 when reving the ****er up

so my Q is does it stop the volts for dropping even

As said, it only produces more current to charge your batteries and supply demand.

Before you do anything do the Big 3 (search it) and upgrade your battery under the hood. If you are still having trouble with voltage drop add another battery in the trunk, and if you still have issues a HO alt is a good consideration.
