What do you use to seal.

I just built my first box, and ported one too! yay! I used wood glue to bond the wood together. Worked like a charm might i add. Then 1 5/8 exterior screws with a 1/4 inch countersink with the screw spaced one inch form the edge of the wood and then 2 inches between each screw.

My question= I used the wood glue as a sealant for the box the way you would use caulk. Now it hink it will make a good seal. What do you think.

nah i was just playing, nevermind. to answer your question, when i use my gorilla glue and it expands and dries, is coarse and has little holes in it. so it wouldnt provide a good seal. youre most likely fine, and the minor unsealed spots dont cause an audible effect.

i think it will be fine

i use liq nails with 2 inch screws to hold it all together and if i have a problem with the seal then i caulk it up.

Yeah, thats what i figured but its always nice to have a second opinion.

Also, i didnt round my port walls

Also, I think the port may be a little out of square. Will that make a noticible, unwanted difference.

Alright, just got done sealing it. I had it made already and used liquid nails and thought that would seal it too, but I noticed air coming out of it a few days ago. THanks
