what do you think about the kicker ss.65 speakers im planing to get ?!!! im planing to get really loud speakers for my front doors just not sure witch ones yet this is just my 1s choice? any suggestions.

They are loud. I think that the tweeter is a bit harsh, but they will get loud.

nice set of speakers, we have a set in our sound room, to me they sound really nice, i have pro60s in my truck but i would highly consider the SS's if i was to get a new set, but they do sound good to me...for what thats worth

How much power do you think they could handle? I know they are rated for 100w, but we know how conservative Kicker can be...

i have no idea but i need some loud *** speakers i might put 2 btls in the trunk im not sure whats speakers to get just for the front 2 doors?

Right. I get listener fatigue from them pretty quickly. It's a nice sounding set but I can't listen to them loud like with the DLS Iridium 6.3 set I had in my previous car.

Many people love that sort of tweeter, though. My ears can barely take any kind of harshness in treble so perhaps I'm a bad reference //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I have used them in two seperate vehicles, and yea, I agree with Jacob, it kinda is hard to say. To me, the tweeter is smooth, and not as harsh as the RS component set. But to others, the RS tweeter is perfect, dead on. So the RS has the silk 25mm tweeter, adn SS is the 30mm. So you really need to listen to each ste, to let your ears decide.
