PG 6.5" Rsd mounting depth?

I have searched and could not find the mounting depth of these. They are making me kind of curious to try but i am not sure how they will compare to my pioneer premier 720prs...I know the pioneers are much more expensive but some of the reviews have really impressed me. So does anyone know the mounting depth of these? And would it be worth it for me to buy them and give them a try? I could my least favorite set of components as rears after trying them but i only have a 2 channel.

Well if that is correct that makes them pretty tempting to give a shot. I need a mounting depth of 2.5" or less. The premiers are 2.6" and they just barely scrape the windows when put down all the way.

I could have sworn that I saw someone say they were just under 3" the other day. I think it was tcguy and he was reading directly from the spec sheet. It was in one of the RSD's are wonderful threads.

you are correct.

73mm mounting depth.... so 2.87 inches.

mounting depth for the 6.5 = 73mm

73mm = about 2.87401575 inches

^ yes, 73mm.... 2.87 inches. they are actually pretty deep i guess. they don't look like they are, but that is what the spec sheet says.
