the one i found and tested...I used for mids and highs and before I even got back home, it had shut off twice. It was only pushing one set of 6.5 comps upfront and a set of 8 ohm mids in the rears

My HPF was at 100hz at the time. with my subs playing up to 100hz to meet them. I imagine with 6x9s you'll be crossed at no higher than 100hz. People dont usually let their subs play much higher than 100 Hz.

And just fyi, "voice" can go down to 100hz....lower in rare cases.

well ill let you know how it performs after i hook it up i dont like it i think i might switch with my brother with his memphis 400.1 lol....even tho it only pushes 50 rms in each channel for my speakers

That SSL amp only has 2 x 20 amp fuses...a 400w memphis amp will do the same if not more power than that SSL and it will sound better and be a better overall performer...the ratings on the SSL are complete, utter //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bsflag.gif.21f42eccd34b7d1eb1608fb1b59b69c3.gif

As for the op, Im kind of confused at your thread. You ask us if it was a good buy and how the amp is. So everyone tells you that its pure junk and not even worth it. Why are you pretty much denying the fact that its junk after everyone told you that its junk?

Its pure junk, not worth having. Main point is that you could of got a better amp for the price... But if youre satisfied with it, then thats that.
