What do you have your amp crossover set at??

Just kinda curious to know what components / rear fill and with what amp everyone is running, and to what frequency you have the crossover on your amp set to for both of them.

my fronts are cdt's,and anywhere from 100hz and up,my rear doors have ed700 6 1/2"subs for midbass and run from flat to 250hz or 50 to 250hz.

normally rear fill isnt that loud,probably cross them over the same as the fronts.

Just lookin at what differnt people set their crossovers at...to kind of get an idea as to where I should be at. I understand what they "should" be at... just getting some food for thought.

It really doesn't matter what anybody else's crossover is set at, as yours will be completely installations/vehicle/setup dependent.

You could have the exact same speakers in two different installs, and the xover points (and slopes) could be completely different for optimal results.

Which is another point....frequency alone is meaningless without the slope. Different slopes will command the necessity for different xover points.

I have Lanzar Cadmium's up front - seeing right around 180w each side. HP is right around 70. Two 12" eminence subs - 350w each - LP's also about 70.

They're not the same intentionally - I just wanted my fronts as low as they'd go w/o distorting, and my subs as high - that's what I came up with.

Been a while since I've used an amp's crossover. I have my lowpass set at 70 to 75 hz at 12db/oct slope. My hipass is around 75-80 hz with a 12db/oct slope. My MTX LSX-2 does not have selectable slopes but 12db/oct was sufficient.
