I have an interview with UPS on November 7th...i applied as a loader because i still have school everyday. I mean i know its not a bigtime job or anything, but what are some questions that employers ask when you go for an interview...i want to be prepared for anything because i need this job...hopefully if i get it they will help pay for college next year....

A friend of mine worked as a loader for UPS and said it was the hardest job he's ever had. I've mowed lawns in 98 degree weather here in florida for 8 hours a day with him, with barely any food, and if he says UPS was harder, then I'd take his word for it. The job must ****.

It's not a cakewalk. Just point out you're religious about coming to work WHEN you're supposed to! UPS has a high turnover, so specify that.

UPS won't ask you anything difficult. They'll ask you about your job history and how long you plan to stay with the company... Loading is ok I guess, sorting is where the fun is.

i was told that you can switch between loader and sorting once employed...is there any truth in that?

Just be like in my spare time i like to smoke and drink while unloading trucks and you will for sure get the job!

Absolutely true. Once you pass the sort test they'll probably move you. The majority of the people that work there are loaders and they try to keep you there. But, if you pass the sort test they'll pay you more and probably move you. I have to go in for work in about an hour and a half... sucks.

yea, i knew some guys that worked there and that seemed to be a theme... or alcoholics
