What do they ask?

UPS = United Pot SmokersI would guess that 40% of the people I work with do drugs on a weekly basis
do you like it there...i mean is it better than your past jobs....and i was also told that you receive a dollar-an-hour raise if you switch from loader to sorter....

I love it there. There are so many people to talk to all the time. People come and go and almost every day I get to meet someone new. I get free benefits and they pay for school. Around here sorters start out at $9.50/hr and everyone else starts out at $8.50/hr.

how much do they pay for school? and what are the benefits?

I work at one of the biggest HUBS in the country. I'm not sure if your HUB will offer tuition assistance or not. Part-time employees get $1500/semester and supervisors make $2000/semester. By benefits I meant health, dental, etc.

I have an interview with UPS on November 7th...i applied as a loader because i still have school everyday. I mean i know its not a bigtime job or anything, but what are some questions that employers ask when you go for an interview...i want to be prepared for anything because i need this job...hopefully if i get it they will help pay for college next year....
Let's not forget the ever popular....."Why do you want to work here?"

Do not reply: "I need a job."

Ups is a very good job if you are a driver. There is no turnover rate if you are a driver. I was a drivers helper for a seasonal job and was making 12.50 an hour. They liked me and put me in full time as a loader. I was **** this job. They took me down to 8.25 and were working me like a dog. So ups has it ups and downs but they usually start most people as a loader and you have to work your way up. Good luck though.
