What do I look for when buying an amp?

I just bought db6501 component speakers. (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107DB6501/P…

and alpine swr t12 (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SWRT12/Alpine-SWR-T12.html?search=alpine_swr_t12&skipvs=T#details-tab)

I dont know what to look for as far as ohms and watts and everything to make this system sound really good.

Your are going to need an amp that can deliver about 500-600 watts RMS @ 4 ohms cause that alpine sub can take and needs a lot of power. And maybe a 2 or 4 channel amp to drive the components.

You can also get a 5 ch amp if you have rear speakers, but most 5 ch amps don't have enough sub amp power for that alpine sub.

Quack buddy,I likes ya n all, but man..Ive bought Massive speakers, and amps, and they have never looked so beautiful other than in the bottom of my trash can..Speakers are trash, and cant handle rated/rms..not even 1/2 power, and the amps get too hott and burn up at 1/2 power..Massive to me, from experience =Trashive,Waste of our hard earned money.A Cheap SStream Rubicon would be better money spent,in my opinion..Folks..Please stay away from Massive products,unless you enjoy spending money,or like to send in for warranty, and get the same crap..I hope I didnt offend you Quack..I do likes ya,just trying to be straight up,from experiencing/wasting my own money:

Not BNIB, but this is one bad boy right there,and later you decide to get a dedicated amp for subs only,this is a fantastic front stage amp, and or for multiple subs..It a very under rated power house,Clean,clear,and durable..you can even run this bad boy in 6ch mode with caps

I have a couple old school houses @600 @4ohms..US Acoustics USX 800,and a USA US Acoustics Series II 2150,if interested please let me know,both work fantastic
